Each year, we proudly present the Naath Awards to celebrate and recognize exceptional academic achievement among Gaath Naath students in both Primary (Junior High) and Senior High School in Kakuma Refugee Camp. Below are the award categories: 

1. Dr. Khor Tut Pur and Family Award of Academic Excellence

Yearly awarded to students who have shown exemplary performance in the standardized Kenya national examination (KCPE & KCSE) and to students who have demonstrated commitment to issues pertaining to cultural knowledge, global affairs and have demonstrated personal leadership through involvement in the community.  Each award recipient is expected to write a brief statement outlining their long-term vision on how they will continue to contribute to their community.

2. STEM Award

This special award is given to students who completed Senior High School (KCSE) and have achieved exceptional performance in the sciences, scoring an ‘A’ grade in Mathematics plus two additional ‘A’s in any of the three sciences (Chemistry, Biology, and Physics).
